Ike J. Monty

 

Monty is president of Investment Builders Inc. (IBI) where he oversees the daily operations of development and construction of projects.  IBI has become a leading developer of residential housing development complexes, military family housing, luxury apartment complexes, and residential subdivision developments.  Under Mr. Monty’s leadership, IBI has developed more than 8,000 housing units; of which currently 2,561 units are owned and managed by IBI Property Management. Monty also sits on the Advisory Board of First National Bank of Fabens, the Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers Board, and the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation.  

Monty was a public interest director for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas and is a past director of the El Paso Diabetes Association and El Paso Country Day School.

Monty holds a Bachelors of Multidisciplinary Studies in general business, economics, finance and philosophy.  He also holds a General Contractors license in Arizona, California and New Mexico; and a Brokers Real Estate license in Texas.  He and his wife Nancy have two sons, Aaron and Zachary.
