Guy N. Fields III is an attorney certified in tax law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has a Masters of Laws in Federal Taxation from Boston University, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. He is a principal in The Fields Law Firm, P.C. Prior to that, he was a partner with Scott, Hulse, Marshall, Feuille, Finger & Thurmond in El Paso. He has been named each year since 2003 as a Texas Super Lawyer in Tax Law by the publishers of Texas Monthly; and he has been named The Best Lawyers in America each year since 1995. The areas of practice on which he focuses are primarily income and estate tax, including tax controversies before the IRS; as well as, banking, business organizations and business tax planning.
